Itinerary

Day 1 SEOUL – YONGIN – DAEJEON (-/L/-)

Meeting with our tour guide at Myeongdong station(Exit 2) at 09:00am and move to Yongin to visit Korean folk village. It introduces traditional culture from the late Joseon period to both local and international visitors through cultural classes experience, shaman faith, seasonal customs and others. Also, the village shows various places with unique features. There are a variety of performances including Nongak (farmer’s music), martial art on horseback, traditional wedding ceremony, and other special events are available by season. Transfer to Korean traditional red pepper paste museum to experience making bean curd and red pepper paste. Proceed to Daejeon for hotel check in.

 

Day 2 DAEJEON – GONGJU – JEONJU (B/L/-)

After breakfast, our tour guide will pick you up at your hotel lobby and transfer to GONGJU. It was the capital of Baekje from AD 475 to 538. Visit to Gongsanseong fortress which is a mountain castle built during Baekje period. Gongju songsanri tombs and royal tomb King Muryeong [UNESCO World Heritage] contains representative relics of the Baekje period. Gongju National Museum preserves and displays cultural treasures, as well as provides educational programs for locals. Magoksa temple [UNESCO World Heritage] was founded by Monk Jajangyulsa in 640 and was repaired multiple times throughout the different dynasties. Move to Jeonju to visit Hanok Village [SLOW CITY]. There are over 800 traditional Korean Hanok houses. While the rest of city has been industrialized, the Hanok Village retains its historical charms and traditions. You can enjoy traditional Korean life and taste food like Bibimbap, the most well-known dish from the Jeonju region.(Option: Korean traditional food and whisky for dinner). Overnight in Jeonju.

 

Day 3 JEONJU – MT MAISAN – GURYE – MT JIRISAN (B/L/-)

After Breakfast, you will meet with the tour guide and transfer to Mt. Maisan photo spot[CNN RECOMMENDED] for picture and proceed to Tapsa temple which is located 1.9km away from the southern parking lot of Maisan Mountain in Dongchon-ri, Maryeong-myeon, Jinan-gun, Jeollanam-do. Tapsa Temple is famous for the over 80 stone pagodas built by Lee Gapyong, a retired scholar. Move to Gurye to visit Bamboo forest and Saseongam observatory. Transfer to Mt. Jirisan to visit Hwaeomsa temple Situated on the southwest corner of Jirisan Mountain, Hwaeomsa Temple is one of the 10 most famous temples in Korea. Overnight in Mt. Jirisan : the Jirisan National Park was Korea's first designated national park. The Jirisan mountain range extends across five cities in three provinces: Gurye in Jeollanam-do; Namwon in Jeollabuk-do; Hadong, Sancheong and Hamyang in Gyeongsangnam-do.

 

Day 4 MT. JIRISAN – HADONG – TONGYEONG - BUSAN (B/L/-)

After breakfast, meeting with the tour guide and transfer to Hadong [SLOW CITY] to visit Hwagaejangteo traditional market which is one of the five biggest traditional market in Korea and green tea farm and experience traditional tea ceremony where you can visit a tea culture museum where you may learn about the history and culture associated with Korean tea. Move to Tongyeong to visit Hallyeohaesang national marine park which was designated as the first national marine park in 1968 and covers the area between Jisimdo Island in Geoje and Odongdo Island in Yeosu with six separate districts including Geoje, Tongyeong, Sacheon, Hadong, Namhae and Odongdo Island. Proceed to Busan. Overnight in Busan.
